Peter is one of Grosvenor’s public sector procurement specialists with experience leading a range of high stakes procurements across IT, facilities management and construction management projects.  Peter is the Site Manager for our Canberra office and as such, also has responsibility for resourcing.

Peter has in depth knowledge of the Commonwealth Government, having previously held positions up to Executive Level 2.  He also has broad experience gained from working across the IT, telecommunications, recruitment, higher education and the not for profit sectors. 

" My days are filled with a variety of challenges.  As the Site Manager I share my time between client consulting work and running the office.  Working in our High Stakes Procurement practice has given me the opportunity to work on very diverse and interesting projects. For example, as part of capital works based procurement projects, I’ve had the opportunity to see the inner workings of the basement of Australian Parliament House and stand on the roof of Old Parliament House.  My favourite part of being Site Manager is helping to mentor our new consultants and watching their capability and confidence grow. "

Highlights

  • Supported a $100m capital works program through the delivery of over a dozen separate procurements projects 
  • Led Procurement Team on Demand services, which included High Stakes Procurement projects to deliver SAP Support Services, IT Software Testing as a Service, Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics Modern Data Warehouse and Managing Contract Services for the refit of 18,000m2 office building.
